Overview:
Ready mix company is seeking a Quality Control Manager with 5+ years of QC management experience and a strong understanding of industry standards, testing procedures, and mix optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all quality control efforts across multiple plant locations
- Ensure compliance with DOT, ASTM, ACI, and other regulatory standards
- Responsible for the day-to-day quality of performance
- Testing and adjusting mixes as needed to meet job and project specifications
- Evaluate and troubleshooting quality issues including, but not limited to real-time specification deviations, customer complaints, and warranty items
- Coordinating with the appropriate salesperson on actions and outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with the customers to strengthen customer loyalty
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of QC management experience in the Ready Mix Industry
- Must have ACI level 1 and 2 certifications
- Deep knowledge of concrete materials, testing protocols, and mix design methodology
- Commitment to exceeding expectations
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability to respond effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Pre-employment drug test required / Valid Driver’s License
