Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Ready Mix Operations Manager to oversee two concrete plants and a fleet of 20+ mixer trucks. This role will be responsible for all plant and fleet operations, production, and maintenance, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality performance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven experience in ready mix operations, team management, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of two ready mix plants and 20+ mixer trucks.
- Manage production schedules, inventory, and quality control to meet customer demands.
- Lead and develop plant and fleet personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with dispatch to maximize delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee fleet and plant maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Monitor operational costs and implement cost-saving measures.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, production efficiency, and customer service.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of management experience in the ready mix concrete or related construction materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of plant operations, fleet management, and maintenance practices.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
