Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Ready Mix Sales Representative to grow and support our commercial and residential concrete business. This role is responsible for developing customer relationships, generating new business, managing existing accounts, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the sales cycle. The Sales Representative will work closely with operations, dispatch, and quality control to deliver high?quality products and reliable service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and other key customers.
- Identify and pursue new commercial and residential sales opportunities.
- Prepare quotes, bids, and pricing proposals in alignment with company guidelines.
- Provide customers with product knowledge, technical support, and project planning assistance.
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations to coordinate deliveries and meet project schedules.
- Track sales activity, market trends, and competitor activity within the territory.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pricing, and project details.
- Represent the company at industry events, pre-construction meetings, and customer presentations.
- Support internal teams by communicating customer needs, project requirements, and upcoming opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Ready Mix sales experience.
- Strong understanding of concrete products, applications, and construction processes.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close sales in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage time, territory, and customer needs effectively.
- Self motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to customer sites.
