Overview:
Southeast Fabricator Seeks an Experienced Design Engineer.
Requirements:
- Work with the estimating department for review of connections & erectability issues
- Review drawings and specifications for opportunities to provide VE and pitfalls related to structural steel connection design
- Furnish estimate of Connection Design cost as required. This can include approximate estimates based on tonnage or hard costs from sublet connection engineers
- Furnish preliminary connection design as needed for projects to be Bid
- Develop connection design “Samples” for use by our estimating department.
