Overview:
Project Coordinator will be responsible for various tasks related to project management and coordination. This role involves traveling as required and working closely with site managers to ensure project success. The Project Coordinator will track site-related costs, documentations, production units and other data as directed by the site manager. Duties may vary depending on project size and scope.
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand the job contract, scope of work and schedule
- Plan ahead continuously, identifying and preparing for potential problem areas
- Maintain a log of all Request for Information (RFI) documents and sign-off documents
- Research and analyze changes, assessing their impact on the original scope of work and generate Change Order Requests accordingly
- Uphold and promote the company’s safety culture, policies and Corporate safety standards
- Coordinate activities with subcontractors and vendors
- Maintain a record set of all Red Line as-built drawings and specifications
- Prepare turnover package documents and manage systems for tracking completeness and signatures for acceptance
- Set up and manage a punch list log with the support of construction personnel
- Submit daily reports to the client
- Prepare all project purchase orders (PO), maintain a purchase order file, including all related documents
- Set up and maintain a material receiving report per company procedures
- Maintain construction equipment
- Assist in managing subcontractor progress and billing, including any scope changes to the contract
- Update and manage project schedules, consulting with construction and project management on critical path issues and schedule activities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project coordinator or field engineer experience
- Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Independent judgment and excellent organizational skills
- Accuracy and proficiency in project management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, Raken, Procore
- Basic understanding of construction job site administrative duties
