Overview:
AISC Certified Steel Fabricator Seeks an Experienced Shop Pusher to Lead their Structural Steel Fabrication Crew. This Hands-On Supervisory Role Directs Daily Production, Keeps Work Moving on Schedule & Ensures Fabricated Steel Meets Quality & Safety Standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of Structural Steel Fabrication Industry Experience
- 2+ Years in a Lead or Supervisory Role
- Strong Knowledge of Layout, Fitting, Welding, Burning & Grinding
- Ability to Read Structural Drawings, Shop Tickets, Bills of Material & Welding Symbols
- Experience Leading a Fabrication Crew In a Production Shop
- Working Knowledge of AISC Standards & Structural Steel Fabrication Practices
- Understanding of OSHA Requirements, Lockout/Tagout Procedures & Crane Safety
- Experience Operating Overhead Cranes & Forklifts; Current Certifications Preferred
- Strong Communication, Organization & Basic Microsoft Office skills
- AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification is a plus
