Overview:
Steel Erector seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee the direction, coordination, implementation and completion of assigned projects related to structural steel erection.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules among onsite personnel
- Maintain all contractual terms and obligations for assigned projects
- Ensure projects meet specified schedule and cost requirements
- Prepare and submit reports to management
- Conduct meetings with key personnel to ensure project timelines
- Collaborate with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Detailers, and Field crews to verify accuracy and completeness of construction drawings
- Document all aspects of projects thoroughly
- Direct and monitor project team activities to uphold overall quality of work
- Coordinate with Ironworker project supervisory personnel to achieve corporate and project goals
- Issue and manage change order requests to customers
- Manage monthly billing process for assigned projects
Requirements:
- 5+ Years Structural Steel Project Management Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management a plus
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and MS Project
- Strong familiarity with AISC and AWS codes and standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
