Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Rebar Fabrication Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our rebar fabrication facility. This role is responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality and safety standards, supervising staff, and coordinating with project managers to meet delivery deadlines. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a solid background in steel fabrication, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of rebar fabrication, including cutting, bending, and bundling.
- Manage production teams and workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with engineering and logistics teams for efficient material handling and delivery.
- Monitor inventory and manage procurement of raw materials and equipment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in rebar fabrication.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with rebar detailing software and production equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or degree preferred.
