Overview:
Regional Site Contractor out of the Midwest is seeking a Safety Manager for their Demolition division. The Safety Manager is responsible for creating an environment and culture focused on sustaining safe operations and engaging team members. This is a proactive role working to improve physical conditions and team members behaviors to realize a company-wide culture of Health, Safety, and Environmental in all aspect of their lives.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience overseeing large scale demolition projects
- Lead the Development and Implementation of safety Programs and training
- Provide reports & updates to the Management Team
- extensive knowledge of laws, rules and regulations related to osha, usace em 385-1.1 epa, and dot
- inspect, audit, and assist project sites
- Conduct new employee orientation with training, testing, and onboarding
- CSP, CHST, OHST, OSHA 500/510 preferred
