Overview:
A leading Heavy Civil Contractor seeks a Field Technology Manager to join their team. This role will oversee all GPS, GNSS, telematics, and 3D machine control systems to enhance precision and performance across multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage GPS, GNSS, telematics, and 3D machine control systems; oversee automated machine guidance and stringless paving technology; optimize fleet usage with telematics.
- Lead the development and updating of digital models; ensure accuracy in grading, compaction, and temperature readings; manage IC and IR systems for quality control.
- Provide training on technology systems; facilitate onboarding and continuous learning; act as a liaison between technical teams and field personnel.
- Deploy and maintain field technology systems; troubleshoot technical issues on-site; monitor key performance indicators to maximize ROI.
- Develop and maintain standards for technology use; ensure alignment with safety and operational guidelines; provide performance insights to executive teams.
