Overview:
A full-service demolition firm working primarily in the Baltimore, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia areas is seeking a top shelf General Superintendent. Their modern fleet of equipment, diverse expertise, and strong support system allows them to successfully tackle some of the largest and most complex projects in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently Navigate the Resourcing, Scheduling and Financial Requirements on Large Scale Demolition Projects
- Manage Project Specific Field Personnel – Ranging from Equipment Operators/Burners, Laborers, and Subcontractors
- Forecast Project Schedule, Material, Labor, and Equipment Demands
- Participate in Creative Brainstorms with Management Team to Improve Project Outcome
- Prioritize Demolition Phases/Tasks and Problem Solve if Issues Arise
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of Supervising Experience in Heavy Wrecking Setting
- Environmental Experience Dealing with Lead, PCB, Asbestos, Is a Plus
- Able to Interpret Drawings, Specifications, Inspection Reports, Contracts, Regulations, etc
- Working Knowledge of HCSS Software Suite is Preferred
- OSHA 30 Hour and OSHA 40 HAZWOPER
