Overview:
Company seeks a Paving Superintendent to oversee the operations and performance of multiple crews within the asphalt and paving.
Responsibilities:
- Implement & Enforce Company Safety & Environmental Policies
- Maintain the Highest Quality in all Aspects of Operations & Customer Expectations
- Hire, Train & Develop Employees for Future Growth & Responsibility
- Control the Work to Maximize Efficiency for the Company, Subcontractors & Owners
- Construct Projects According to Specifications & Customer Expectations
- Responsible for the Maintenance & Repair of Company Assets in Accordance with the Company Maintenance Program
- Assist Shop Personnel in Scheduling Repairs & Preventative Maintenance
- Act as Point of Contact for Positive Interaction with Customers, Project Managers & Inspectors
- Oversee the Accuracy of all Daily Reporting Requirements
- Schedule Work for Crews in Consultation with Customers, Estimators, Dispatch, Project Managers, Inspectors & Subcontractors
- Communicate with Dispatch on Trucking needs or Changes
- Communicate with Material Suppliers Regarding Material Types & Quantities Required for the Job
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 Years Foreman Experience Required
- Project Management & Field Supervisory Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management Preferred
- Strong Verbal & Written Communication Skills
- Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Budgeting & Scheduling Software)
- Understanding of Asphalt Paving, Sub-Grade, Base & Related Subcontractor Operations
