Overview:
A leading Heavy Civil Contractor seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale roadway construction projects valued at $50 million or more.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple high-value roadway construction projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are coordinated and executed efficiently.
- Scheduling and Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders on progress, issues, and changes.
- Document Management: Oversee and manage all project-related documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor and control project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contract Evaluation: Review and evaluate project contracts to ensure all terms are met and any risks are identified and mitigated.
- Change Orders: Develop, document, and manage all change orders, ensuring that any modifications are well-documented and approved.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in roadway construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects valued at $50 million or more.
- Skills: Strong skills in scheduling, reporting, and project documentation. Excellent financial acumen to oversee budgets and control costs effectively.
- Education: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
